A Clubhouse For People Living With Traumatic Brain Injury
Seattle BrainWorks is a place that engages the strengths of survivors of traumatic brain injury. Everyone's talents and contributions are equally valued as members work together to make "the Clubhouse" function efficiently.
Consistency, routine and the understanding of peers and staff create an atmosphere where survivors of brain injury feel welcomed and supported while taking the risks that come with moving forward.
The kind of rehabilitation the Clubhouse provides allows members to continue making the progress they began in-hospital, in rehabilitation programs, and with family and friends. New gains in productivity, socialization, and daily living skills combine to help brain injury survivors successfully reintegrate into the community.
